Top-Tier | Nikola Jokic (DEN) – FP 61.37 It feels like Jokic makes it on this list on a nightly basis. We do know that he gets plenty on playing minutes as long as he is healthy. He also contributes in all categories and limits his TOs. Tonight, against Cleveland, he should be looking for the same and should be able to return value. Nikola Vucevic (ORL) – FP 51.82 He has now had 7 double-doubles in the last 9 games, and I am talking about monster double-doubles. He is also averaging a healthy 25 points per game over the last 6 games even without shooting the ball well. Tonight, against GSW, it should be a fast paced game and look for him to have a great game. | |
Mid-Tier | Fred VanVleet (TOR) – FP 45.91 He has been playing lights out the last couple weeks. He has picked up his assists and averaging a healthy 8 assists per game over the last 6 contests. He also contributes with plenty on points and 3-pointers. Look for him to continue this against Minnesota tonight. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) – FP 41.66 Last game was his first game back, but it didn’t seem like he missed a beat. He logged in 33 mins for 22 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Look for those minutes to go up and at this price he should be able to return value. | Clint Capela (ATL) – FP 38.93 He has now scored in double digits in 5 out of the last 6 games. He has also logged a double-double in each of those games. Its encouraging to see that he is delivering this with low-30s minutes. Look for him to get at least that in the game tonight against Boston and anything more in terms of minutes, he should be easily able to return value. Chris Boucher (TOR) – FP 32.47 This is kind of hit or miss but Toronto could get up early and that could mean plenty of garage time for Boucher. I feel like he gets mid to high 20s playing minutes tonight and produces a solid performance. |
Low-Tier | Darius Garland (CLE) – FP 29.75 The last game that Cleveland played, he logged in 40 minutes. He has also scored in double digits in all but 1 game over the last couple weeks. He also contributes in terms of assists and rebounds and should be able to return value. | Willy Hernangomez (NO) – FP 31.16 It was encouraging to see Willy playing 29 mins in a close again Portland last time around. He was also able to deliver with a double-double. Tonight, he gets an up-tempo Phoenix team and at this price he should be able to smash Cedi Osman (CLE) – FP 25.78 He is now getting the playing opportunity being the starting lineup and in both the last couple games, he has been able to deliver. He is a slightly deeper play but at this price, as long as he is starting, he should be able to deliver. |
