|Top-Tier||Trae Young (ATL) FP – 46.80 He is the only player above $10K today but is also validated due to the way he is playing as of late. This game against Cleveland is also one of the highest o/u at 229.5 points with Atlanta as -6.0 point favorite. I personally like the guards in the mid-tier today (listed below) than paying up for the top-tier guys||Joel Embiid (PHI) FP – 52.36 His last game against Orlando wasn’t a great one. Philadelphia went up early and Embiid was only asked to play 27 minutes. Even in the limited minutes, he almost scored a double-double. We’d be hoping that tonight’s game against Charlotte remains close and Embiid get mid-30s minutes and should be able to return value. |
Andre Drummond (CLE) FP – 44.22 Kevin Love is already ruled out and that would mean plenty of playing minutes for Drummond. We also know that he is capable of delivering monster double-doubles and filling up the stat sheet and that should continue tonight.
|Mid-Tier||Malcolm Brogdon (IND) FP – 38.51 He has averaged 36 minutes/game over the last 3 games. He has also averaged over 20 points/game in that period and also contributes towards some rebounds and assists. If tonight’s game against NY remains close, he should have no problem returning value. |
Darius Garland (CLE) FP – 33.31 He averaged 37 minutes and 19 points per game over the last couple games. Tonight, should be another high scoring game against Atlanta and he should be playing similar minutes.
Kyle Lowry (TOR) FP – 38.69 Toronto is only 1-3 but none of their loses have been blowouts and Lowry is averaging 37 minutes/game. He remains active and also fills up the stat sheet. Tonight, they get the NO Pelicans and would be looking to avenge their loss from their first game. Btw he even recorded a double-double in that game.
|Brandon Ingram (NO) FP – 36.61 He is balling out to start the season and look for him to continue tonight. The last time these teams faced, he was 1 rebound short of a triple double. We wouldn’t be expecting that but that is also in the realm of possibilities.|
|Low-Tier||Dante Exum (CLE) FP – 20.11 This one is a slightly deeper play. I do like both the Cleveland guards on this list and even Collin Sexton in this high scoring game against Atlanta. If he plays high-20s minutes, he should be able to return value.||Clint Capela (ATL) FP – 29.04 Another player from the Atlanta vs Cleveland matchup makes it to this list. He is also slightly deeper play but at $5,200 he should be a steal. Last game, he played 30 minutes but was able to deliver a double-double and even 6 assists. It would be great if he could just repeat those numbers.|
