|Top-Tier||Luka Doncic (Dal) – FP 54.43|
Doncic and the Mavs face the Phoenix Suns tonight in what is supposed to be a high scoring game o/u 234.5 with Phx -1.0. This is the highest on the night and is supposed to be a close game throughout. Doncic has the odds on favorite to win the MVP by Vegas and this would be the first time we get to see him. Even though he played only limited minutes it seems like every game he flirts with a triple double.
|Jayson Tatum (Bos) – FP 46.76|
Tatum and the Celtics get a key matchup with Milwaukee and Giannis Antetokounmpo. That said, I don’t think Giannis would be guarding him most of the game. Tatum should get plenty of opportunity as seen in each of the preseason game. He should get upwards of 13-14 FGs and should also be active on the boards.
Karl Anthony Towns (Min) – FP 50.61
He is the primary scoring and rebounding option for Minnesota this year. Tonight, they get the Detroit Pistons who are not that great defensively anyways. This would also be the first regular season game for KAT on what is an amazing journey for him after losing several of his family members. Look for him to have a great number with no restriction on minutes played.
|Mid-Tier||Bradley Beal (Was) – FP 40.60|
This would be the first time we would see both Russell Westbrook and Beal playing together for Washington. They get a great matchup with Philadelphia with a high o/u on the night. It was also a great sign to see coach Scott Brooks stagger both their playing minutes with both of them being completely fantasy relevant.
Collin Sexton (Cle) – FP 32.69
Sexton led the teams in points but barely contributed in rebounds and assists last year. This year might be the same but he might get additional assists due to the addition of Andre Drummond. This game though should be a smash for him since Kevin Love is already declared out for tonight.
|Nikola Vucevic (Orl) – FP 41.82|
Vucevic is walking double-double machine. Even coach Steve Clifford mentioned that he would like Vucevic taking plenty of shots every game. He gets a touch matchup against Bam and the Miami Heat but should have no problem returning a great value tonight.
John Collins (Atl) – FP 41.21
Collins had a monster year least season. I doubt he would be able to repeat with the recent addition of Clint Capela and Danilo Gallinari, but he should still be starting and be able to return value at this price.
|Low-Tier||Bogdan Bogdanovic (Atl) – FP 26.77|
These first couple games are always interesting in trying to predict what is a better lineup and how the team is going to play. He might play in the starting lineup, but it would probably be better for fantasy numbers if he’s the primary option with the bench.
|Dwight Howard (Phi) – FP 16.92|
This would be the first game we get to hopefully see Dwight and Embiid in the game at the same time. That said, Embiid did missed the last couple preseason games due to an illness and that might mean that he might miss this game and/or play limited minutes. Keep a close eye on the inury report prior to the game but if Embiid missis, Howard is an absolute smash at this price.
